It's all about the balance! And you KNOW I agree with you on the protein snacks thing too. Nothing worse than a snack that does nothing to fill you up! Love the tips, you always remind me to eat salads more - not usually an issue but when the weather starts getting cold my body always craves warmer foods, so my protein shakes and salads go out the window. I'm one of those strange people that actually enjoys eating healthy, so it never seems to be something I have to work on, but that definitely wasn't the case when I was in my teens and early twenties.
