Figure 1. In preparation: chicken Milanese. His (big chicken) and hers (little chicken), browning side by side.

Figure 3. In preparation: spicy sausage and mushroom pizza.

Figure 4. Sunday night's dinner: spicy sausage and mushroom pizza (yes, a bite is missing) with a lemony arugula salad.

    1. thanks, lyn! it was a great arugula salad. surprisingly so. and we knew that because i made a salad that said it served 6 and we finished the entire thing. i think that's 4 servings for me and 2 for him! talk about his and hers...

    1. do it jamie! i was skeptical because (as you probably know) i like my salad's with tons of stuff in them. and acutally considered adding some pine nuts. but, i followed the recipe and kept it simple and it was really great. i was surprised my boyfriend went back for seconds!

  5. Hahahaa love the dwarf chicken slab. Funny to see guy portions next to girl portions :)

PS - that couscous looks divine! I'd totally take a guy-sized portion of that :)

  7. Wow. That all looks fantastic - can't decide what looks better, the chicken or the pizza! I often have 'big portion, small portion' meals for when my BF comes to visit me. Men seem to need a lot of energy!
