Figure 1. Breakfast: two slices of Ezekiel sprouted grains toast topped with peanut butter and banana.
Figure 4. Afternoon snack: an apple and almonds.
Figure 5. Dinner: leftover rice pilaf, roasted green beans, and a Quorn Chik'n Pattie dipped in ketchup.
And that concludes another What I Ate Wednesday (featuring what I ate Tuesday, February 12).
Love dry cereal 10x more than with milk... and even more with some pb and yogurt :)
ReplyDeleteI always eat with a kiddie fork or kiddie spoon!
ReplyDeleteI love pretty much all roasted vegetables, but I've never tried roasted green beans! Growing up my dad would steam them and serve them with some butter and toasted almonds, so that's how I always eat them. I need to try roasted!
ReplyDeleteI looove kiddie utensils! They make it feel like you're eating more than you are ;)
ReplyDeleteDry cereal is ten times better than cereal with milk! It's a lot easier to eat too much of it too though :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a ginormous stockpile of bananas at home too. Both on our counter and in the freezer.
I need to try that chocolate fiber one cereal - it looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYour banana stockpile looks just like my kitchen! I love bananas. Have one everyday for breakfast :)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so good. I really want to try that Trader Joe's meal, next I am there I think I am going to have to buy it. Thanks for introducing me to it. :)
ReplyDeleteRoasted veggies can never go wrong in my book, they all make me want to gobble them up
ReplyDeleteYour kiddie fork looks cute and I'm using small spoons at times, too, as elsewise I tend to eat way too fast.
ReplyDeleteRoasted veggies are definitely something I need to give another chance. Maybe I just did something wrong the last times?!
Toast with almond butter and bananas is my favorite go to breakfast. Especially if I'm on the run or before a workout. So good and filling!
ReplyDeleteI should try one of the Quorn patties, never have!!
ReplyDeleteNo cereal for breakfast?!!? What is the world coming to?! ;p
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I was shocked by your our-of-the-norm breakfast, but comforted by the fact that your banana stockpile looks incredibly similar to my own - complete with tiny brown spots and everything :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day of eats Sara! I love the breakfast! :)
ReplyDeleteyour eats always are so yummy and clean!
ReplyDeleteMmmm if you drizzle honey over that toast those are my favourite flavours all together - peanut butter, banana and honey. Yum!!!
ReplyDeletePS This is still Anna but my new site is live so I am now at Your Healthy Place rather than The Guiltless Life! But I'm finally back!
That breakfast is drool-worthy! Side note: I LOVE to eat ketchup with my rice :)
