weekend review: the zero calorie margarita

Figure 1. Friday night's dinner: balsamic salmon, roasted butternut squash with rosemary and balsamic vinegar, and roasted broccoli with Parmesan.

Figure 2. Sunday night's cocktail: a margarita made with this Stevia-sweetened zero calories mix. I was skeptical, but this was delicious!

Figure 3. Out of the oven: a ham, cheese, and green onion quiche with a hash brown crust courtesy of mom.

Figure 4. Sunday night's dinner (please excuse the awkward half-eaten extreme closeup): ham and cheese quiche, a salad with homemade tarragon-mustard vinaigrette, and a french baguette dipped in olive oil and spices.

  1. I made that butternut squash recipe for Thanksgiving a few years ago! I swear we are recipe twins. ;)

  2. That quiche recipe looks so good... We are having a sunrise service at our church for Easter and we are going to have breakfast that morning. I am totally going to do a quiche!

  4. How have I never had a hash brown crust on a quiche before?? Some of those stevia-sweetened drinks are surprisingly good, right? Better than the sugar version anyway, that's what I say!

And just out of curiosity: how can a alcoholic drink be zero calorie? Or is it a virgin margarita?
