Figure 3. Lunch: Amy's frozen vegetable korma on top of raw spinach.
Figure 4. Lunch dessert: a slim-fast snack bar, double-dutch chocolate. Judge away, if you want, but these are 100 calories of candy bar goodness that satisfy my ever-present and raging sweet tooth without too much caloric damage.
Figure 6. Dessert: 130 calorie chocolate peanut butter mug cake topped with whipped cream. Delicious!
And that concludes another What I Ate Wednesday (featuring what I ate Monday, March 26).

ReplyDeletethat eggplant looks so good, I have been digging eggplant lately
ReplyDeleteThat Korma and spinach looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteHappy WIAW! Your chocolate peanut butter mug cake looks great. I think having a low-cal go-to sweet snack is a wonderful way to beat those cravings that get us all. :-)
ReplyDeleteYum I always drool at your breakfast so much! I still need to try it!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely feeling you on the raging sweet tooth. Can you believe that I've never had a mug cake? I'm thinking it's a bandwagon I might have to jump on because they sound like such quick and easy doughy snacks to make...
ReplyDeleteOh, your morning snack bowl is right up my alley and I can't remember the last time I had slivered almonds usually opting for almond butter. Might need to remedy that soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope your injury's healing well and you're doing better!
Ahhh mug cakes - basically the best invention ever. Thanks for the link to the 130cal one.. the recipes I have are just a smidge unhealthier haha
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...I'm making that mug cake ASAP. Chocolate & peanut butter is my ultimate weakness.
ReplyDeleteAnd no judgements on the slim fast bars! I have a bar of some sort almost every day too- the Clif Z bars are my current favorite!
Not judging those bars, I have them too! Because yeah, nice and satisfying without having to worry about indulging, going overboard whatever... no one likes that feeling!
ReplyDeleteHa, I love your bowl of slop! :) I used to live on those SlimFast bars when I was in college. I carried them with me everywhere!
ReplyDeleteNo judgment here; different strokes for different folks right. I love your roasted veggies and your chocolate mug cake. I have a raging sweet too as well, more like a full mouth full of them. :)
