How do you like the polenta? I've had baaaad experiences with soggy grits and am scared to try it - but it sounds like a good, unique side dish to swap in for potatoes or whatnot.
ReplyDeletei love polenta, it is a great alternative side. just make sure you make it with milk and add cheese to make it creamy. and make sure you cook it long enough so it gets nice and thick.
DeleteDoes it make me a bad foodie if I admit that I don't think I've ever eaten a casserole? It's just one of those dishes that I never grew up with, so I never really bother to look into it. Looks deliciously creamy though...
ReplyDeletegirl. go get yourself some casserole!
Deletei have never had a tuna casserole but that sure looks tasty!
ReplyDeleteI like putting the casserole in a big flatter pan so that you get more crusty topping. The browned crust is always the best part!
ReplyDeletegreat idea!
