what i ate wednesday: issue 73


 Figure 1. Breakfast: puffed wheat + All Bran + cocoa powder + banana + milk.

Figure 2. Morning snack #1: a sliced Gala apple sprinkled with cinnamon.

Figure 3. Morning snack #2: one of Chobani's new Flips. Yum!

Figure 4. Lunch: a spinach salad topped with leftover baked eggs and ketchup (baked with cottage cheese, feta, bacon, and green onion).

Figure 5. Dinner: a Quorn 'chicken' patty, leftover rice pilaf, and roasted broccoli.

And that concludes another What I Ate Wednesday (featuring what I ate Monday, March 18).

  1. That salad topped with baked eggs looks fantastic. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get over the idea of ketchup on a salad. Lol. But lots of people seem to love it :)

  3. Apples with cinnamon then slightly warmed is my favorite night time snack lately. Yum! I can't wait to try those Chobani flips!

  5. Your salad with baked eggs look yummy! I love making microwaved egg whites and eating it over a bed of baby spinach with veggies and topped with pasta sauce!

  11. Those baked eggs sound DELICIOUS! And I just tried that Chobani Flip! I was surprised with how much I loved it...I don't even LIKE key lime pie! Haha!

    Please, please, PLEASE tell me you dipped your broccoli in that ketchup! ;)
