I tend to be fairly anonymous on my less serious life, but today, whether I'm ready or not, my two worlds collide.
Academic life, meet my my blog life. Blog life, meet my academic life.
Academic life, meet my my blog life. Blog life, meet my academic life.
Little did you know, dear blog readers, that before I began my less serious life, I went to school (for many years). They ended up giving me all these degrees and diplomas. Go figure.
Amongst other things, my research focuses on cancer outcomes and I somehow sparked the interest of the lovely folks at the American Institute of Cancer Research (AICR).
I'm not sure if it was my serious research publications, or my less serious blog ramblings, but they kindly asked me to write a guest post for their blog. I hope you'll go and check it out and learn a little bit more about me.

So cool! Congrats, what an accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteDaggum, girl, you get those degrees. And those awesome opportunities with AICR. I've been trying to get my boss to send me up to attend and report on the AICR nutrition and cancer conference, but no dice so far. You planning on going to that?
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it was possible, but this just makes me love you more. I actually write a lot about epidemiology and etiology, and I love that your brain functions on the same science-nerdy level. Mega points for bloggers with brains.
haha, love that you love me more. bloggers with brains are the best.
DeleteOh wow! Congrats! What a huge opportunity!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing! It's inspiring to know that you are able to balance all these difference aspects of your life yet still remain grounded. Congrats on your accomplishments and keep doing what your doing!
