Figure 1. Friday night's dinner: BBQ spiced salmon with pineapple jalapeno salsa, wild mushroom couscous, and sauteed smoked paprika asparagus.
Figure 2. Saturday night's dinner: my momma's turkey meatloaf drenched in ketchup, zucchini casserole, and a spinach salad with beets, feta cheese, and almonds.
Figure 3. Sunday night's dinner: baked ziti with summer vegetables and salad of romaine lettuce, arugula, carrots, tomatoes, avocado, and a homemade spicy southwestern dressing.
Figure 4. Labor Day baking: peanut butter fudge pretzel brownies (i die).
Figure 5. Labor Day dinner: chili-spiced chicken kabobs with nectarine salsa, couscous with roasted grape tomatoes and parsley, and roasted green beans. Best meal of the weekend.
And...now I'm kinda tired of cooking...
wow a great cooking spree for sure! I am impressed.
ReplyDeleteGod I want all of this. My landlord needs to get me my stove ASAP! I have a feeling I'm going to get a similar cooking bug once the stove gets put in. And those pretzel brownies may just be the first recipe to happen!
ReplyDeleteno stove! i would die. what are you eating?
DeleteJeeeez. It all looks so great, Sara. I want the ziti. And the salsa.
ReplyDeleteSmoked paprika asparagas?!? I have to try that!
ReplyDeleteWhen are you cooking next? I'm coming over. Everything looks soooo good!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow everything looks delicious! I just pinned the salmon with pineapple salsa and the chicken kebabs with nectarine salsa. Thinking about making one of those, if not both for dinner next week. My mom made this brown sugar/spice rubbed slow cooked pork with cilantro peach salsa and it was SO good. I'm now obsessed with fruity salsas!
ReplyDeletePeanut butter...pretzel...brownies...
ReplyDeleteI die.
Seriously Sara, I fall more and more in love with your cooking skills every week! When I show up in your kitchen one day, don't be alarmed!
